The Nomad is the 4th offering in the growing line of hammock stands designed by ENO.  The portable, lightweight Nomad Hammock Stand is constructed of aluminum alloy and weighs only 15 lbs.
Asheville, NC, July 28, 2016 – Eagles Nest Outfitters, creators of packable camping hammocks and fun outdoor accessories, continues to broaden their offerings with a full line of new products presented at the Outdoor Retailer Summer Show. While hammocks and suspension straps are ENO’s go-to products, the team mindfully enhances and expands their product line while staying on top of the hammock game.  “One of our must exciting new products is the Nomad Hammock Stand,” said Lane Nakaji, General Manager. “Its lightweight aluminum design is streamlined and easy to assemble, and makes hammocking an option in locations lacking trees for suspension.  Our goal is to take all of the challenges out of hammocking, making it simple and relaxing no matter where you are, or who you are.” Another addition to the lightweight line is the Helios XL Suspension System.  The Helios XL is designed using Dyneema with a bury splice adjustment system.  It has all of the light and strong aspects of the original Helios Suspension System, but has an addition 5 feet for a total of 13 feet of usable feet.  ENO will also be adding a third chair to their product line.  While the first two chairs offer...
Eagles Nest Outfitters, creators of packable camping hammocks and fun outdoors accessories, presents the industry’s lightest hammock – the Sub7.
Featured in Gear Junkie‘s “Greatest Gear for 2015: ‘Best in Show’ at Outdoor Retailer” “The twice-annual Outdoor Retailer trade show, held last week in Utah, is a mecca of gear. We sent our crew of editors and reporters to cover the show and snoop out the best to-be-released products for 2015 and beyond. The equipment here, part I of our “Best In Show” award series, represents some of the most unique and innovative items you’ll see on the shelves at outdoor shops around the U.S. later this year. …Sub-7oz. Hammock –- Eagles Nest Outfitters cites the “lightest hammock on the market” of its type with the Sub7. It weighs 6.5 ounces for the nylon hammock body, included carabiners, and Dyneema cord. All of that stuffs into a hand-size bag and is so light as to be unnoticeable in a pack. We laid down in it for a break at the OR Show and were impressed — it’s comfortable, airy, and so super light. It holds up to 300 pounds and comes to market soon for $70.”   by: Sean McCoy
Atlas was powerful enough to shoulder the weight of the world. Inspired by the legendary Titan, we created the Atlas Hammock Suspension System. Our Atlas Straps are feeling a little blue lately, but in a good way! Ever since we’ve debuted the Atlas Strap’s long and tough daisy-chain design they’ve boasted bright orange threads. Now that Spring has officially arrived, it’s out with the old and in with the new! Any day now we’ll be switching over to the new strap color. The new blue thread will help us know how old each Atlas Strap and we’ll change the color every year. What color do you want for our most popular tree strap next year!? So if you’re an Enopian-in-waiting….then you’re right on time because you’ll be the new kid on the block with the fresh blue Atlas Straps! The Atlas Strap is our favorite tree strap (shhh…don’t tell the others!) because of the length and versatility it offers. Agile but enduring, the Atlas Strap weighs a scant eleven ounces, yet boasts a whopping thirty combined adjustment points. Constructed from Poly-Filament webbing with overlapping attachment whorls, the Atlas Strap is the ultimate in hammock suspension. When the weight of your...
Earlier this year, the new LaunchPads returned with brighter colors and in two different sizes. Great for the beach and family outings; the LaunchPad is especially well suited for attending the music festival. Every ENOpian I know is resourceful when it comes to hanging a hammock up when naysayers say “there are no trees”. However, sometimes, there are no trees. And every now and again it’s nice to plop down on the ground–wherever you are and start relaxing. Stage poles, trees, jeeps–this is a short list of things you can hang your hammock from at a music festival, really the possibilities are endless. However, if you want to catch the music on the big stage and just chill in the center of the field with your crew for a while, a LaunchPad may be the way to go. It serves as a great placeholder in a crowd and it zips up in a flash, just in time for you to stage bounce. Two Sizes You can choose between the LaunchPad single or double. Similar philosophy to the single and double hammocks, the double is the same in length and about twice the width of a single. Whatever your preferences are...
As many of you ENOpians know, we rolled out the HouseFly earlier this year–adding it to the rain fly family. In addition to added privacy, the HouseFly’s silicone impregnated nylon sides keep you warm, dry and comfortable.
Even though the days are getting longer, the nights are dark and lacking fun LEDs. Light up your evening with our re-designed Twilights! What’s new about this generation of Twilight Camp Lights?
Just in time for the new years, we would like to reintroduce you to a fresh version of an old favorite – the DoubleNest, SingleNest and DoubleDeluxe Hammocks. Aluminum wiregate carabiners, updated buckles and new cord locks highlight the 2013 facelift for the hammocks. These minor trim updates appear small, but together make for big, innovative differences. Doing away with the older, heavier steel carabiners used on the pioneering models, we have introduced superior aluminum wiregate biners. The sleek, new design – complete with our logo – not only pleases the eye, but also shaves off major weight; they are only a quarter of the weight of their predecessor. In addition, the wiregate opening is free of sharp edges, reducing the chances of material damage. “We wanted to update the biners to make the hammocks lighter and deliver the highest quality product possible,” said ENO Designer, Brendan Garvey. “We developed this biner specifically for us and our customers.” The updated hammocks also feature a redesigned buckle and cord lock, both parts of the opening mechanism. The new buckle, made from acetol, is stronger and sturdier, lessening the frustrating possibility of an accidental release. The cord lock redesign features no moving...
