New cold weather focused tarp and underquilt seal out the freeze and heat up your hammock, rounding out ENO’s versatile line. Asheville, N.C., Jan. 15, 2013 – Refusing to bow down to cooler temperatures, Eagles Nest Outfitters, the leading producer of parachute hammocks, say bring on the chill with the HouseFly™ and Vulcan™ Underquilt. The new additions to the company’s 2013 roster complete an already versatile line and are inspired by the concept of four-season hammocking. “We’ve been working on cold weather gear for a while,” said ENO Designer Brendan Garvey. “It really rounds out the line.” The HouseFly™, part rain tarp, part luxurious, water-proof fortress, features silicone impregnated nylon – a lightweight, strong and highly waterproof material to increase longevity. To bolster the shelter further, overlapping, stowable doors complete with agile buckles on either end of the tarp allow for two door conversions: pinned open (similar to the ENO ProFly) or secured shut.
