You’re sitting around a bonfire with a group of friends, roasting hot dogs and marshmallows and aiming your headlamp light in the eyes of the person across from you.  You go over everyone’s busy week and plans for the next one.  Someone throws another log on and you all watch the glowing ash rise up into the night sky.  You feel the heat on your face and hear sighs of contentment all around.  Sooner or later, you know that someone will pull out a guitar. Before you reach for your guitar, you should consider a highly underrated alternative:  the ukulele.
