“Great Outdoor Glow Up" Sweepstakes

ELIGIBILITY: Open only to legal residents of the continental United States, 18 years of age or older. Void in Alaska and Hawaii and where prohibited. Employees, agents and representatives (and their immediate families (parent, child, spouse or sibling and their respective spouses, regardless of where they reside) and those living in their same households, whether or not related) of Visit NC and Eagles Nest Outfitters, Inc. (“ENO,” collectively, the “Sponsors”), and their respective parents, affiliates, subsidiaries, and advertising and promotion agencies are not eligible to enter or win. By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsors, which are binding and final on matters relating to this sweepstakes. Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws.

TO ENTER: Between 12:01 a.m. Eastern Time (“ET”) on April 22, 20024 and 11:59 p.m. ET on April 29, 2024, to enter, visit Instagram: (i) follow @enohammocks and @outdoor.nc (if you don’t already do so), (ii) create a post of yourself picking up trash, maintaining a trail, or making a positive impact, and (iii) post same tagging @enohammocks, @outdoor.nc and using #OutdoorNCxENOsweepstakes. All Entries must be received by 11:59 p.m. ET on April 29, 2024. Limit of one (1) entry per person. Multiple entries received from any person will be void. Entries generated by script, macro or other automated means or by any means that subvert the entry process are void. Entries will not be acknowledged.

If you do not have an Instagram account, establishing an account is free. All applicable platform terms apply. You can unfollow either or both accounts any time after the winner has been announced. All entries become the property of Sponsors.

REQUIREMENTS OF ENTRIES: Entry must be entrant’s own work product, may not have been previously published, and may not have won previous awards. Entry may not contain, as determined by the Sponsors, in their sole discretion, any content that:

• is sexually explicit or suggestive; unnecessarily violent or derogatory of any ethnic, racial, gender, religious, professional or age group; profane or pornographic; contains nudity;
• promotes alcohol, illegal drugs, tobacco, firearms/weapons (or the use of any of the foregoing); promotes any activities that may appear unsafe or dangerous; promotes any particular political agenda or message;
• is obscene or offensive; endorses any form of hate or hate group;
• appears to duplicate any other submitted entries;  
• defames, misrepresents or contains disparaging remarks about Sponsors, their products or services, or other people or companies;
• contains trademarks or taglines owned by others, without permission, to the extent permission is necessary;
• contains any personal identification, such as license plate numbers, personal names, e-mail addresses or street addresses;
• contains copyrighted materials owned by others (including quote or words of others), without permission, to the extent permission is necessary;
• contains materials embodying the names or other indicia identifying any person, including, without limitation, celebrities and/or other public or private figures, living or dead, without permission;
• communicates messages or images inconsistent with the positive images and/or good will to which we wish to associate; and/or
• violates any law.

Sponsors, in their sole discretion, may disqualify your entry for any reason, including if it determines that your entry fails to conform to these Official Rules in any way or otherwise contains unacceptable content.

DRAWING AND WINNER NOTIFICATION: Potential winner will be selected in a random drawing on or about April 30, 2024 from all eligible entries received. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. Potential winner will be notified by direct message. If prize or prize notification is returned as undeliverable, or a potential winner does not respond to the notification within the time period stated or is otherwise not in compliance with these rules, prize will be forfeited and, at Sponsors’ discretion, an alternate winner selected. Only three (3) alternate winners will be selected for any prize; after which, such prize will remain unawarded.

PRIZE: ENO Leave No Trace Double Nest Hammock with Atlas Hammock Straps and an Outdoor NC clean-up kit (Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”):$144.90. All federal, state and local taxes associated with prize acceptance and use not specified herein as being provided are the sole responsibility of the winner. Prize is awarded “as is” with no warranty or guarantee, either express or implied by Sponsors. Winner may not substitute, assign or transfer prize or redeem prize for cash, but Sponsors reserve the right, at their sole discretion, to substitute prize (or portion thereof) with one of comparable or greater value. All prize details are at Sponsors’ sole discretion.

PUBLICITY GRANT: Winner, by acceptance of prize, except where legally prohibited, grants permission for Sponsors and their respective designees to use his/her name, user name, address (city and state), photograph, voice and/or other likeness and prize information for advertising, trade and promotional purposes, without further compensation, in all media now known or hereafter discovered, in any manner, worldwide in perpetuity, without notice or review or approval.

GENERAL CONDITIONS: Entrants, by participating, agree that Sponsors, Meta Platforms (dba Instagram), and their respective parents, affiliates, subsidiaries, dealerships and advertising and promotion agencies and all of their respective officers, directors, employees, representatives and agents (collectively, “Released Parties”) will have no liability whatsoever for, and shall be held harmless by entrants against, any liability, for any injuries, losses or damages of any kind, including death, to persons, or property resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from acceptance, possession, misuse or use of a prize or participation in this sweepstakes. Released Parties are not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, inaccurate, stolen, misdirected, delayed, undelivered, or garbled entries, messages, email, or other communication of any kind; or for lost, interrupted or unavailable network, server, Internet Service Provider (ISP), website, or other connections, availability or accessibility or miscommunications or failed computer, satellite, telephone or cable transmissions, lines, or technical failure or jumbled, scrambled, delayed, or misdirected transmissions or computer hardware or software malfunctions, failures or difficulties, or other errors or difficulties of any kind whether human, mechanical, electronic, computer, network, typographical, printing or otherwise relating to or in connection with the sweepstakes, including, without limitation, errors or difficulties which may occur in connection with the administration of the sweepstakes, the processing of entries, the announcement of the prize or in any sweepstakes-related materials. Released Parties are also not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by platform users, tampering, hacking, or by any equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the sweepstakes. Released Parties are not responsible for injury or damage to participants' or to any other person's device related to or resulting from participating in this sweepstakes or use of the platform. Persons who tamper with or abuse any aspect of the sweepstakes, who act in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner or who are in violation of these Official Rules, as solely determined by Sponsors, will be disqualified and all associated entries will be void. Should any portion of the sweepstakes be, in Sponsors’ sole opinion, compromised by virus, worms, bugs, non-authorized human intervention or other causes which, in the sole opinion of the Sponsors, corrupt or impair the administration, security, fairness or proper play, or submission of entries, Sponsors reserve the right at their sole discretion to suspend, modify or terminate the sweepstakes and, if terminated, at their discretion, select the potential winner from all eligible, non-suspect entries received prior to action taken or as otherwise deemed fair and appropriate by Sponsors.

WINNERS LIST: For the winners list (first name last name, state of residence), send an email to info@outdoornc.com, for receipt no later than thirty (30) days after the end of the sweepstakes.
