Each year readers of the popular publication Blue Ridge Outdoors Magazine have a chance to vote for their local favorites. From gear manufacturers to experience providers and brands to events, the annual Best of the Blue Ridge Awards is the most well-known outdoor award in the Southeast.
Unlike other awards, it is led by its readership. The Best of the Blue Ridge Awards has its readers submit nominations for each category ranging from best local festival to best lodging. The front runners from each category are then voted on by the public, pulling in over 200,000 votes this year.
