FAQs

Please visit our FAQs page to find out more.

What is the difference between the Atlas Hammock Straps and Atlas EXT Straps?

ENO Atlas Straps are our best-selling hammock straps. They feature multiple connection points, letting you hang your hammock at various distances.

ENO Atlas EXT Straps are strap extensions - they increase the length of your existing hammock straps. Each EXT strap is 5' long, and together add a total of 10' of reach. Perfect for hanging from larger trees, or trees that are further apart. They are also wider than Atlas Straps, making them more tree-friendly.

What makes the ENO Atlas EXT Straps tree-friendly?

The ENO Atlas EXT Straps are 2" wide, .5" wider than our Atlas Hammock Straps. The additional width helps distribute the hammock's weight to a larger surface area of the tree, lessening the hammock's overall impact on the bark of the tree. It also meets the common regulation for hammocking in certain state parks.

Can ENO Atlas EXT Straps be used alone or do I have to use it with another suspension system?

While ENO Atlas EXT Straps can be used alone, they have no adjustability and pair best with hammock straps.
