Every great love story starts somewhere.
Ours literally started in a hammock.
When we were just 14 and 15 years old, there was a little hidden park in our neighborhood where we'd meet every weekend. We'd string up our hammock between two trees and spend hours in there—talking about life, dreaming about the future, laughing until our stomachs hurt, and simply enjoying being together. It always held us.
Life, of course, didn't unfold in a straight line. Over the years we grew up, spent time apart, experienced long distance, traveled different paths, and somehow always found our way back to each other.
Through all of it, our hammock kept showing up.
It came with us on trips, adventures, and moments when life felt chaotic and we just needed to slow down. It became our little piece of home wherever we were- a place to reconnect, breathe, and remember what mattered most.
A few weeks ago, after more than a decade together, my now-fiancé asked me to meet him at a special spot.
Waiting there was our hammock, strung between two trees, wrapped in twinkling lights and surrounded by flowers. The place that had witnessed our first kiss was now witnessing the beginning of our forever.

He got down on one knee, and as I sat in tears, swinging a gentle rock on the hammock that felt like home, he asked me to marry him.
Some people have a favorite café, a favorite beach, or a favorite bench.
We have a hammock.
It's held our conversations, our laughter, our tears, our dreams, and now our engagement. It's been there through growing up, growing apart, growing together, and choosing each other again and again.
So thank you, ENO, for making something that became so much more than outdoor gear.
You made the setting for our first kiss, countless memories, and the proposal we'll cherish for the rest of our lives.
