Investing in Our Future for Yours

At ENO, we’re not just about making quality relaxation products, we’re also about making the world a better place. At our very core is our commitment to the environment and to the people that touch our product through its entire life cycle.

We’re continually evolving and refining our processes, programs and partnerships to ensure we are delivering in quality, comfort and innovation while leaving as little trace as possible. Our sustainability work is rooted in three pillars: materials and chemistry, environmental conservation, and social responsibility.

Materials & Chemistry

We are committed to the journey of building more sustainable and responsibly made products. This includes developing and sourcing high-quality and bluesign® approved materials that meet strict safety and environmental requirements which have a minimum impact on people and the environment. We're also focused on adopting pre- and post-consumer recycled materials as well as safer ingredients for water repellents, color dyes, and beyond into our supply chain.

bluesign® System Partner

To reinforce our commitment as a responsibly acting party of the textile supply chain and our focus on a sustainable future, we have adopted the industry leading bluesign® Restricted Substances List (RSL); the list provides a comprehensive system for managing chemical hazards, workplace safety, and environmental impacts during material production.

Environmental Conservation

We believe in the conservation and preservation of our wild places and are proud to partner with a network of exemplary organizations and support their vital work. From contributing to planting trees for every hammock purchase to pledging 1% of our sales to support nonprofit organizations focused on environmental solutions, we are committed to helping address the most pressing issues facing our planet.

Trees for the Future

As a hammock company, we know the importance of trees and so do our customers. Since 2018, ENO has partnered with regenerative agriculture nonprofit, Trees for the Future (TREES), donating a portion of each hammock sold in support of their mission to train farmers in agroforestry and sustainable land use - so that they can grow vibrant regional economies, thriving food systems, and a healthier planet.

Together we've funded over 3.3 million trees, restoring over 700 acres of land, lifting over 6,489 people from poverty and hunger, and capturing over 119,635 metric tons of CO2 over a 20 year period.

1% for the Planet

As a member of 1% for the Planet, we donate 1% of our sales each year to environmental causes that work to protect the environment for generations to come.

Through this work, we’ve established our Giving Back Hammock Collection which supports our partners’ efforts in protecting and preserving our environment and public lands, making the outdoors more welcoming for all, and serving and supporting our communities through outdoor education and experiences.
