Asheville, N.C., December 14, 2013 – Don’t worry, there’s plenty of room for two in the new SweetWater DoubleNest Hammock from Eagles Nest Outfitters (ENO), the first hammock from the ranks of ENO produced with a brewing company. Designed with both company’s beliefs in mind, the cobranded creation is the ultimate nest for unwinding and enjoying a cold one.
The palatial hammock features both SweetWater’s and ENO’s logo, and comes with an attached compression stuff sack for easy packing and transport. The bright color combination of Light Navy, Emerald, and Sunshine Yellow was picked to remind hammockers of their favorite Sweetwater brews; 420, IPA, and BLUE.
Although hammocks and breweries aren’t a traditional pairing, Doug Wright, SweetWater’s Director of Retail Merchandise, believes it to be a natural fit and hopes the hammock’s creation spurs on some customer overlap.
“Prior to joining the SweetWater Brewing Co. team, I spent eight years in the outdoor industry where I was fortunate enough to engage with some of the world’s best outdoor gear brands such as ENO,” said SweetWater’s Director of Retail Merchandise Doug Wright. “Given SweetWater’s love for the outdoors and my experience in that industry, it was an organic fit for us to feature ENO’s products in our line and move forward in developing a collaborative relationship with them.
