Where are you located?
Muscogee Creek Nation, today known as Atlanta, GA.
How did you get interested in the outdoors? Why do you think time outside is important?
My first time camping wasn’t until a 7th grade field trip in East Texas. I didn’t camp again until I was in my late 20s and dating someone who really loved camping and hiking. A seed was planted and I’ve been seeking nature as a refuge ever since. There’s something special about the power of nature and the outdoors to provide quiet and calm, while also being regenerative and healing. It’s something everyone deserves to have access to.

What are your favorite outdoor activities?
Cycling, running, birding, and just laying in the grass!
What is your favorite 12 oz beverage to keep in the stash pocket of your hammock?
Cold brew coffee - it’s the perfect all-season beverage (before 2 pm).
What is your history with ENO gear?
I’ve been familiar with the brand for years but hadn’t spent time in one of their hammocks until an outdoor event in NC in 2022. Now, I’m hooked. I’ve been using the Packable Tote as a carry-all for trips to the gym, grocery store, and the summertime pool hangs. And now I keep my SuperSub Hammock + Atlas Hammock Straps on me for any time hammock use when I’m on the go.

Best advice you were ever given?
It’s so important to find joy on your own terms, and make it a regular thing. The more I can capture joy on a daily basis, the better my heart, mind, and spirit are aligned for me to live the life that I want. It’s a magical thing.
