We sat down with our product design team to get the full story behind the newest ENO endeavor: portable outdoor games.

Behind the design 

Q: What inspired the creation of the TrailFlyer?

The TrailFlyer™ was inspired by fan-favorite and timeless games like Cornhole and Skee-Ball. When we surveyed the market of outdoor games we found that most all of them utilized poor quality materials, weren’t very portable, and lacked a sense of adventure. So we looked at the category of outdoor games through the lens of technical gear design and saw an opportunity to raise the bar when it comes to quality, durability and having fun outside.

Adding the ENO Flare

Q: What makes this game special/unique? How is it ENO-specific?

We blended our expertise in technical product design with signature ENO features— premium, packable, colorful, sustainable— to create an original outdoor game that stands out from the crowd in both quality and user experience. 

Much like finding the perfect ENO hammock spot, TrailFlyer™ invites you to get outside, explore, and find the perfect tree(s) to set up and play the game with friends or family.

How to play

• Divide into two equal teams, either 1v1 or 2v2, and alternate throwing discs from 10 feet away. 
• Each target represents a specific point value, ranging from 1 to 3. 
• The first team to reach exactly 21 points wins.

Q: Where can it be played?

At the peak of a good hike, any perfect camp spot, or even right in your backyard. All you need is an anchor point 6-20” in diameter. The game packs down to the size of a 32oz water bottle and just over two pounds, so it is made to take with you.
